Reviewing the swine flu situation on Tuesday, he asked the state not to panic over the spread of H1N1 flu. The government is taking precautions to contain the spread of the disease. Doctors have been told to help the people in distress. Medicines are being made available in required quantities and doctors will be provided with masks, he said, adding that private hospitals have also been asked to work to contain the spread of the virus. So far, 353,048 passengers had been screened and 331 patients admitted to Government Chest Hospital. Of this, 124 testes positive till September 12. There are 13 patients at the Chest Hospital including eight positive and five suspect cases, according to a release.
