DIIs net sellers of Rs 171 cr in cash mkt today

Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net sellers of Rs 171.16 crore (provisional) today, according to data released by BSE. - FIIs net sellers of Rs 73cr in F&O on Friday - FIIs raise holding in frontline IT stocks - FIIs net sellers of Rs 73cr in F&O - FII-TO-FII TRADES: PNB traded at 6% premium - Volumes in currency futures up - FIIs net sell Rs 479cr, DIIs net buy Rs 173cr While DIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,381.17 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 1,552.33 crore. Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 2.74 crore today. While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 2,108.28 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 2,111.02 crore. FIIs were net sellers of Rs 48.80 crore on Friday, October 23, according to data released by Sebi today. While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 2,942.40 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 2,991.10 crore. Mutual funds (MFs) were net sellers of Rs 308.80 crore on Friday. MFs made purchases of Rs 618 crore and sales of Rs 926.90 crore.

Ness Tech to scale up India operations
With the key IT outsourcing markets showing positive signs in terms of demand, Ness Technologies which provides R&D services to its global clients from offshore locations, has announced to expand its Indian operations. The company which presently employs close to 3,000 people in India, has announced opening a new facility in SEZ in Bangalore with 300 seats at present to be scaled up to 600 by March 2010.
