CPCL Q3 net at Rs 220 cr

Chennai Petroleum Corporation (CPCL) today posted a net profit of Rs 220.36 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009. - IOC Q3 profit plunges 76% to Rs 697 cr - NTPC Q3 net up 5% to Rs 2,365 cr - Apollo Tyres Q3 net zooms over 18 times on topline growth - Great Eastern Shipping Q3 net dips 68% to Rs 94 cr - BEML Q3 net dips 21% to Rs 46 cr - GMR Infra Q3 PAT plunges 85% to Rs 9 cr The company had a net loss of Rs 1,269.89 crore in the same period corresponding fiscal, CPCL said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Net sales of the company rose to Rs 6,849.84 crore against Rs 5,617.45 crore for the same period corresponding fiscal. Shares of CPCL were trading at Rs 235.40 on BSE, up 2.86 per cent from its previous close.
