Ajit Rangnekar takes over as dean of ISB

Ajit Rangnekar has been appointed the dean of the Indian School of Business (ISB) for a five-year term. The Executive Board unanimously named Rangnekar as the new dean in Mumbai on January 8. - LAP it up - Ten US varsities tie up with IDP to lure Indian students to US - "We need business leaders who can understand global competition" - Murdoch is joined by rivals who may pull out of Google - ISB to help faculty and scholars publish case studies abroad - ISB sets up Indian case development centre Ajit Rangnekar has a background spanning over thirty years in consulting and industry, across Asia. Prior to this appointment, he was the deputy dean of ISB since March 2003 to January 2009. Before ISB, Rangnekar worked as the country head, first for Price Waterhouse Consulting and then for PwC Consulting, in Hong Kong and Philippines respectively.
